How to Cancel AVG Auto-Renewal Safely

Identify the billing source
Direct purchases are normally managed in the vendor account. App-store or reseller purchases may use their own cancellation systems.
Turn off future renewal
Open subscriptions/billing and select the current cancellation or auto-renewal option. Keep confirmation.

Stopping renewal normally prevents a future charge; it does not automatically create a refund.
