Cancel, refund, or fix any Quick Heal issue

There are two different things people mean by "cancel" — turning off future charges, and ending the subscription now.

Turn off auto-renewal

1. Open the Quick Heal app.
2. Navigate to More → Support → Customer Support → Subscription.
3. Click Manage Subscription.
4. Select Cancel Auto renewal from the drop-down.
5. Click Continue.
6. Select a reason for cancellation, then click End auto renewal.
7. On the next screen, select Unsubscribe to confirm.
8. Click Confirm.

Cancel immediately

Call support and ask for full cancellation. Quick Heal's refund policy is strict — see topic 03 for details.

Quick Heal's refund policy is different from most antivirus vendors. Read this carefully before requesting a refund.

Key facts

• No money-back guarantee: Quick Heal does not offer a standard money-back guarantee.
• License fee is non-refundable: the license fee paid is not refundable under any circumstances.
• 30-day free trial: every plan comes with a 30-day free trial, which lets you test the product before paying.
• Virus Removal Guarantee: if a Quick Heal expert cannot remove the virus from your system, you may be entitled to a refund even if no other refund right applies.
• Original end-user only: refund rights apply only if you are the original end-user of the product.

How to request a refund

1. Go to the Quick Heal Support site.
2. Search for "refund" and open the refund request page.
3. Fill in the refund request form with your order details.
4. Or call support and request it directly.

Nine times out of ten, a surprise Quick Heal charge is an auto-renewal you forgot about.

Update your card or billing address

1. Sign in at quickheal.com.
2. Select Account, then My Profile.
3. In the Billing Information section, click Update.
4. Enter the new card details and address, then click Save.

Review past charges

1. Sign in and open My Account → Subscriptions.
2. Click View active for current plans.
3. Click All expired for older subscriptions.

Most login failures are a password issue, an unregistered email, or Caps Lock being on.

Reset your password

1. Go to the Quick Heal sign-in page.
2. Click Forgot password.
3. Enter your registered email and click Continue.
4. Check your inbox for the reset link and create a new password.

Common login errors

• Username or password incorrect: Check that your password is at least 7 characters and Caps Lock is off.
• Email not registered: Try older or work emails. If Quick Heal came pre-installed on a Dell or OEM machine, the registered email may differ.
• Login loop: Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again. If the issue persists, restart your device and network.

Use this when Quick Heal won't open, is using huge amounts of CPU, or won't update.

Standard uninstall (Windows)

1. Go to Start → Control Panel → Programs.
2. Right-click Quick Heal antivirus and select Uninstall.
3. Follow the prompts, then restart your PC for changes to take effect.

If the standard uninstall fails

Quick Heal does not provide a dedicated removal tool like Avast Clear. If the standard uninstall fails, contact Quick Heal Technical Support for assistance in removing the software completely.

Reinstall Quick Heal

1. Visit quickheal.com/installer.
2. Enter your product key or select the product from the list.
3. Download the installer and run it.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation.

Run these in order — most people are fixed by step 3.

1. Restart your computer. A full restart, not shutdown.
2. Run an update inside the Quick Heal app.
3. Disable the Quick Heal shields temporarily to check if a conflict is causing the crash.
4. Check for conflicting antivirus software. Only one should be active at a time.
5. Reinstall Quick Heal using the standard uninstall and reinstall method above.

Do this the moment you buy a Quick Heal plan — it's the single biggest cause of unexpected charges.

2. Navigate to More → Support → Customer Support → Subscription.
3. Click Manage Subscription.
4. Select Cancel Auto renewal from the drop-down.
